I wanted to see exactly where the money was going.

When I was first introduced to Solace, I wasn’t necessarily sure what to expect. At first I thought it was one of these apps that would help people who don’t have knowledge about money or trading, help you to better understand it (since there’s so many trading apps out there, I thought this would help break trading down further for the newbies like myself). I was always interested in wanting to learn how to trade or have something that could make money for me without me actually having to have a side hustle. So, I was kind of hoping that this would be that.

I think in the beginning, I was just a little confused because again, I don’t have any financial accounting background and trying to understand the language presented on the website was a little confusing for me at first. However, when I was able to give my feedback, the owner of the website was able to help me understand what I was looking at. It was cool to be able to do simulations in the beginning and try to understand what was really going on. I think the only real confusing thing is that I guess I wanted to actually see everything be further broken down (like I wanted to see exactly where the money was going instead of just saying oh the money gained this or you lost that at the end of the day).

Maybe one day, I will further educate myself about how trading really works so that I’m more confident that an app that would move money works in my best interest. On the flip side, I do like to see the simulation making decisions daily; it’s not just a random move on a random day or staying stagnant for a while. My favorite part is when I see my money grow, I get nervous when it fluctuates but I’m sure everyone who trades feels like that too. I do trust that one day this app will go far and will actually help me retire early. Maybe, who knows.
Maybe, who knows.
